The Army tasked 31 tech companies — including CounterTrade Products, Inc. — to supply it, the Department of Defense and other agencies with commercial-off-the-shelf software as part a $13 billion contract award.
The 10-year multi-award, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 contract (ITES-SW2) calls on CounterTrade to provide software and maintenance across 14 product categories to any agencies within the Army’s enterprise information technology infrastructure.
The contract, a follow-on to ITES-SW, will continue to provide commercial-off-the-shelf software products and related services for IT application development, security, modeling and simulation, multimedia and design, and program management.
The award comes more than a year after the Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) office offered a synopsis of the follow-on contract request for proposal, which will replace the current contract. The current contract is set to expire October 12, 2020.
